Dorset-based metal decking specialist SMD Ltd is bullish about prospects for this year after an award-winning 2017.
The company is one of only a handful of British firms to design, manufacture and install its own steel decking systems.
It is headquartered at Tower Park, Poole and now employs more than 120 staff at locations across the UK, including Leeds, Nottingham and Glasgow – as well as a satellite office in Dubai and a design centre in India.
In the Construction Enquirer awards last year SMD was named Best Specialist Contractor to Work With (Under £25m) category and also awarded a top 10 spot in the Best Specialist Contractor to Work For (Under £25m) category.
The firm was also successful in a number of other awards.
SMD Development Director Dan Williams said: “We are delighted to have won so many awards in 2017, which is testament to both the skill and dedication of all my colleagues and the high standards we set ourselves.
