Wilmott Dixon looks set to take a £9m contract to build a new community facility in Dundee.
If the builder’s bid is approved by Dundee councillors work could start on the Menziehill multi-use community centre in the west of the city next month.
Designed over two storeys, the building will consist of two games halls, fitness suite, library and cafe.
According to a report to be considered by the city development committee on 12 March 12, the total projected cost of the new Menzieshill Community Project will be £13.2m when fees, land purchase, furniture, landscaping and other elements are taken into account.
Willmott Dixon plans to use Robertson Construction as a key subcontractor to deliver the project, which is expected to take around a year to build.
