BAM lands 2,700 place Jaguar Land Rover car park

Jaguar Land Rover has picked BAM Construction to deliver a vast multi-storey car park next to the manufacturer’s Castle Bromwich factory in Birmingham.

The 59,000 sq m structure, which is expected to be worth more than £25m, will provide 2,764 spaces for staff and production vehicle parking, replacing an existing surface car park.

The five-storey car park will be handed over in multiple phases matching car production requirements in the adjacent facilities.

The scheme employs piled foundations with pads, with Bourne Parking providing the steel frame with concrete planks, pre-cast stair cores and cladding.
