Scaffolding giant Altrad is set to acquire industrial services specialist Cape in a deal worth £332m.
The Cape board recommended the takeover bid this morning to shareholders, which if accepted, will create a glabal industrial services business.
In the UK, Altrad’s trail of acquisitions include Baromix, Belle Group, Beaver 84, NSG, Generation Hire & Sales, MTD Scaffolding, Trad and Hertel.

Founded in 1985, French headquartered Altrad has rapidly expanded through a series of strategic acquisitions to provide industrial services, scaffolding solutions and light construction equipment in the civil and industrial sectors.
Following the successful acquisitions of Hertel in June 2015 and Prezioso in May 2016, Altrad employs 22,000 staff in over 30 countries and turnover €2,3bn.
