McCarthy & Stone has appointed Nigel Turner as one of its new dual Chief Operating Officers.
Turner will oversee the group’s building operations when he joins next month.
Turner was previously development and property services director at Kier but left in the summer as part of a major management reshuffle at the contractor.
John Tonkiss, Chief Executive Officer for McCarthy & Stone said: “Nigel has exceptional experience in the construction industry.
“He will lead our build cost reduction workstream and our deployment of more cost-effective building solutions, which is critical to the successful delivery of our new strategy.”
