London-based developer Neighbour has submitted plans for a 300-home build to rent scheme on the Leeds city centre fringe.
The proposed development in the Saxon Gardens district includes one block rising to 8-10 storeys and another 12-14 storeys tall.
The development at the Flax Place/ Marsh Lane site provides up to 260,000 sq ft of residential accommodation and will be clad with grey brick panels.
An undercroft level of shops and a GP surgery will link both buildings containing parking and servicing and acts as a plinth for the upper storeys.
London-based architect Doone Silver Kerr designed the scheme which will contain 10 studio flats as well as 150 one-bed, 130 two-bed and 10 three-bedroomed apartments. Fifteen would be listed as affordable housing.
