Scaffold alternatives aim to boost site safety

Specialist Glazesafe is aiming to improve site safety by providing alternatives to scaffolding and ladders for working at height.

Daniel Cheddie, Director of Glazesafe and Lead Designer, said, “There are thousands of workers across the UK and around the globe that currently need to work at height and they deserve to have the upmost protection when they’re completing vital jobs.

“Many fatalities and injuries can be avoided with innovative products that put safety first.

“At Glazesafe, it’s our mission to deliver the tools that can really make a difference to the fatality and injury figures that plague the industry.”

The firm’s flagship product Sashmate allows professionals to carry out repairs to aluminium, wooden, and uPVC windows from inside the building.

It instantly improves safety while reducing costs by eliminating the need to use ladders or scaffolding for external access. Taking just seconds to set up, Sashmate reduces the time jobs take to complete too.

Glazesafe also offers lightweight Stronghold – a versatile fast erect mobile anchor points and barrier system designed to minimise the need for costly access equipment.
