Murphy major projects chief joins Galliford Try

Galliford Try has confirmed the appointed of Sean Blackmore as its new Rail Director.

Blackmore joins from J Murphy & Sons where he was Major Projects Director.

He spent more than 12 years at Murphy overseeing bids for major contracts like the HS2 enabling works.

Chris Scoffield, Managing Director of Galliford Try Rail & Aviation, said: “We recognise the importance that rail plays in an integrated transport network and Sean will lead the next phase of our growth in the rail sector.”
