Manchester Airports Group set to refresh £700m framework

Manchester Airports Group is planning to set up a next generation contractor framework to deliver a £700m programme of works at Manchester, East Midlands and London Stansted Airports.

The new Major Capital Works Framework will initially run for five years with an option to extend for a further three years.

Under the previous capital delivery programme framework BAM, Carillion and Galliford Try were appointed in 2013 to deliver building and infrastructure work under a £500m programme.

This time the airport client is on the hunt for partner contractors to cover three areas: civil construction works; new build and fitout; and refurbishment works.

These will be spread across a dozen lots based on value bands and location.
