Construction Enquirer awards backed by industry

The inaugural Construction Enquirer awards will be held in Birmingham next Tuesday.

And the event has generated massive support from the industry.

More than 11,000 Enquirer readers voted for their favourite firms to work for and companies to do business with.

And the Top Ten lists of winners read like a who’s who of the industry.

Construction companies have also shown their support for the awards via sponsorship of the evening.

The awards sponsors are: Kier, McNicholas, Keepmoat, Taylor Woodrow, Torsion, Jarvis, Taylor Hart, Chigwell Construction,Ferns Surfacing, PERI and Keltbray.

Enquirer editor Aaron Morby said: “The response in terms of votes has been overwhelming as thousands went online to choose their Top Ten firms to work for and do business with.

“It has also been great to see so many construction companies support the event with their generous sponsorship.”

Main contractors, specialists, clients and suppliers will be out in force next week to celebrate with the Top Ten winners.

The awards night takes place at the Vox in Birmingham and will be hosted by comedian Russell Kane and TV architecture expert George Clarke.

A collection will be held for the event’s nominated charity The Lighthouse Club and all those who donate will go into a draw.

The prize is a £500 chip for the Genting Casino next to the Vox where the awards after party will be held.

Morby said: “It’s shaping up to be a great night and a chance for everyone to celebrate being voted Top ten winners by their staff and suppliers.”

The final few tickets and tables are still available for the awards and can be booked here
