Highways England’s regional director for the Midlands Tim Harbot has joined Amey as technical excellence director.
He will work within Amey’s Highways Business Unit, following 26 years with Highways England.
In the new role Harbot will focus on three key areas – customer service, quality & processes and innovation.
Harbot is the latest high-level departure from the roads agency to a major highways consultancy.
Just three months ago Mott MacDonald poached Brian Gash, Highways England’s major projects chief across the south west, as a programme director in its highways business in the UK.
