More than 30 jobs have been saved after a buyout of window and curtain wall fabricator and installer S.G. Aluminium Ltd.
New owners the Three Towers Group Ltd have bought the £4.5m turnover business after it ran into trouble following problems on a small number of contracts over the the last two years.
Parent company SG Aluminium Group fell into liquidation earlier this month.
The deal sees 34 staff kept on at Blackburn-based S.G. Aluminium Ltd and two existing directors remain on the board.
A company statement said: “The directors of Three Towers Group bring decades of experience within specialist subcontract trades, together with all the resources required to stabilise and grow the business.
“S.G. Aluminium Limited will utilise its increased resource base to grow sales and create even stronger trading links with both its supplier and customer base whilst maintaining steady and sustainable growth.”
