VolkerHighways has appointed former Kier highways general manager Jerry Pert as new operations director.
The contractor is strengthening its senior management team to support business growth in the county highways term maintenance market.
Pert brings with him over 30 years’ experience in the contracting environment working with both Kier for three years and Ringway for over 17 years where he rose to regional director for South and East Region.
He brings long experience in managing the bidding, mobilisation and delivery of local authority highway term maintenance contracts and has a strong operational and commercial background.
