Morgan Sindall is to deliver a significant upgrade to the teaching and sports facilities at Bottisham Village College in Cambridge.
The £16.7m project for Cambridgeshire County Council and Anglian Learning Trust will involve a major expansion to the college’s current facilities, including a brand new teaching block of 22 new classrooms, an auditorium, reception and dining area.
In order to increase the college’s student capacity, Morgan Sindall will also remodel the original building. Newmarket-based Integral UK is already on board for the building services.
Saul Humphrey, managing director of Morgan Sindall’s East Anglia office, said: “Morgan Sindall is well versed in delivering education projects and we look forward to working closely with the council and Anglian Learning Trust to deliver this exciting new scheme.”
Morgan Sindall is currently on-site at significant schemes across Cambridgeshire, including a £37.5m education and leisure centre complex in Littleport, Cambridgeshire.
The business is also delivering a new £45m Science Centre for Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge.
