Ramboll poaches WSP building services ops director

Consulting engineer Ramboll has lured rival WSP’s operation director Andrew Henderson to join as UK director for buildings.

Henderson brings with him over 30 years’ experience in engineering, having advanced to senior positions at Hyder Consulting before moving to WSP nearly four years aho, where he led the building services team.

In his time at Hyder Consulting, he grew and developed their business in the Middle East, before being appointed as managing director for Land Development, Building Design and Environment Design.

He has managed a number of standout projects, including the Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent, Raffles Hotels and the Ritz Carlton; all of which highlight his proven track record for multidisciplinary management.

Mathew Riley, managing director of Ramboll UK, said: “Andrew’s considerable leadership experience will enable us to accelerate the investments we are already making in developing fresh and innovative solutions that meet and exceed our clients’ needs.”
