Former Van Elle piling director Andrew Waghorn has joined Murphy & Sons as director of ground engineering.
He brings over 15 years’ of experience within the UK and Australian piling industries.
As managing director of the Van Elle piling division he oversaw all divisional functional departments and systems, ensuring health and safety standards were met, delivering year-on-year turnover and profit growth.
Waghorn will lead the consolidation of Murphy’s piling divisions and the growth of the company’s piling and ground engineering capability in the UK and Ireland.
He joined Murphy at the start of this month.
