Plan for £33m Warwick University arts faculty

Initial designs have been unveiled for a new Faculty of Arts Building at the University of Warwick in Coventry.

Architect Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios has just won the RIBA design competition for the new building.

The Faculty of Arts is one of the World’s top 50 arts and humanities faculties and is located south west of Coventry.

Its departments, currently housed in two separate buildings, will be united in a central campus location close to another new building, the Oculus and the Arts Centre, with the aim of fostering closer collaboration between departments.

FCB Studios will now work closely with the University of Warwick’s Estates team to develop their design over the coming months.
