Quarter of firms dropped from £1bn-plus London housing deal

Leading London housing association Notting Hill housing Trust has named a new line-up of contractors to deliver its ambitious housing plans over the next four years.

The association’s third generation framework sees the number of preferred firms dropped by around a quarter from 31 to 23 this time around.

Previous winners Allenbuild, Bafour Beatty (Mansell), Graham, Lakehouse, Osborne and Sisk are not joining the fresh line-up.

While a spread of big name contractors from Ardmore and Bougyues to Wates and Willmott Dixon Partnerships are resigned to deliver its ambitious development programme.

Over the next four years the housing association is believed to be set to spend up to £1.25bn.

The new Constructor Framework for Development Programme framework is billed has having a total value of up to £10.8bn over four years as it is potentially open to all London housing associations.
