Laing O’Rourke’s commercial sector leader Andy Butler has left the group to join Multiplex.
Butler, who has been at Laing O’Rourke for over 11 years, has taken the post of technical director at Multiplex and will oversee key projects like the 22 Bishopsgate tower in the Square Mile.
During his time at Laing O’Rourke he worked as project director on the Cheesegrater before a spell as commercial leader in Australia and then Europe.
Butler follows two other former Laing O’Rourke directors who made the move to Multiplex.
Former Laing O’Rourke infrastructure director Paul Maguire joined Multiplex Europe last year as commercial director following Callum Tuckett, former group commercial chief, who took the reins at Multiplex as chief operating officer for Europe, the Middle East and Canada in January 2017.
