Three left in race for £1bn Tottenham scheme

London’s Haringey Council has narrowed its shortlist to three bidders for the role of longterm development partner for the £1bn High Road West scheme in Tottenham.

A final decision on the winning partner from shortlisted companies: Barratt Developments; Lendlease Development and Linkcity (Bouygues) is now expected by mid 2017.

Located next to the £900m Tottenham Hotspur stadium development, the 11 hectare High Road West’ scheme in North Tottenham is earmarked for 1,400 new homes.

A new local centre will include new library and learning centre in a new public square (below) with shops, restaurants and community park.

The High Road West scheme will be delivered alongside the Northumberland Park Estate Regeneration scheme, which will be taken forward by the Haringey Development Vehicle once established.

These two major regeneration schemes, coupled with the Tottenham Hotspur Football Club stadium development will deliver billions of pounds of public and private investment in North Tottenham transforming the area with over 5,000 new homes and 4,000 new jobs.

The importance of the High Road West scheme has been recognised by the Mayor of London, who has contributed £62m of funding to support it as part of the regeneration of North Tottenham.
