Henry Boot’s hire firm Banner Plant has swooped to buy the assets and on-going business of Premier Plant and Tool Hire for £2.8m.
Premier operate from two depots in Leicester and are one of the largest independent plant and tool hire companies in the East Midlands.
The firm has a comprehensive plant fleet of more than 200 items of plant and an extensive range of power tools which fit directly into the Banner Plant fleet and moves Banner Plant into a new operational location in the Midlands.
Premier will now be able to offer additional lines such as powered access, accommodation and large compressors from Banner Plant’s more comprehensive fleet.
Giles Boot, managing director of Banner Plant, said: “I would like to welcome the Premier team and look forward to working with them all to ensure their dedicated approach to customer service continues under the Banner brand.”
