Developer HB Reavis has hired former Argent head of construction Joe Martin as its UK construction director.
Martin will be responsible for leading all future and existing HB Reavis construction activities in the UK.
When he joins in August this will involve working on the delivery of 945,000 sq ft Elizabeth House near London’s Waterloo station.
This will be the Slovakian developer’s fourth and largest project in London.
Prior to joining HB Reavis, Martin worked for five years at Argent as the head of construction for the King’s Cross development. Before that he spent 19 years at Kier Construction Major Projects.
Martin said: “I’m delighted to be joining the team at such an exciting time, with Elizabeth House on the horizon, and an existing portfolio of great Central London projects.”
Radim Rimanek, HB Reavis Group Deputy CEO, said: “We look forward to welcoming Joe on board to strengthen our leadership team that has already delivered three high-profile London office developments in the last six months.
“His expertise with projects of large scale and complexity is what we need for our ambitious future developments in London.”
