Construction Enquirer has shot up the national website rankings to stretch its lead as the industry’s best read online news service.
Data giant Alexa ranks websites according to their traffic and is recognised globally as the leading independent measure of a site’s popularity.
The highest traffic site is ranked number one – with Google taking that slot in the UK and the BBC ranked number five.
The Enquirer is currently ranked 6,183 of all websites in the country.
That is head and shoulders above rivals in our sector like Construction News (15,608), Building (32,249) and New Civil Engineer (39,867).
Other industry websites in the rankings include The Construction Index (32,295), Construction Manager (65,780) and UK Construction Media (125,045).
The Alexa data also shows that the Enquirer has the highest percentage of total page views from the UK at 97%.
Enquirer editor Aaron Morby said: “It’s great to have an independent measure of readership.
“The way the industry gets its news has changed forever and busy construction professionals relate to our fast and informative format.”
An ever growing band of advertisers are promoting their products, services and jobs in front of the vast Enquirer construction audience.
