Lack of skilled roofers prompts Marley new launch

Marley Eternit has launched a new easy to install range in a bid to compensate for a lack of skilled roofers.

The firm said: “The ongoing loss of skills in the roofing sector, as a result of the labour shortage and ageing workforce, means there is a clear need for manufacturers to develop easy-to-fix products.”

Marley has launched Flexfast which is a new Universal Lead Replacement Roll which is quicker and easier to install.

The firm said: ” The new Universal Lead Replacement Roll has been designed and developed as a time saving solution, that doesn’t require specialist lead fitting skills.”
