Projects worth more than £5bn have been posted on a new online construction leads service which is helping subcontractors and suppliers find work.
The Noticeboard service is run by software specialist ConQuest and highlights work opportunities from more than 600 main contractors.
It connects directly with ConQuest’s estimating software so main contractors looking to price trade packages for their tenders and live projects just post directly to the Noticeboard.
ConQuest said: “We are turning the whole lead generation business on its head with Noticeboard.
”Historically lead generation companies have had to get potential project information from planning records, architects, and cold calling main contractors.
“This is a much more accurate way of gathering lead information for subcontractors and suppliers because work opportunities come directly from main contractors who are actively looking to price a trade or project.
“Users can search for projects by trade, area, project stage and value.”
ConQuest software is currently used by estimators, surveyors and buyers from hundreds of main contractors including on average 70 of the top 100 building and civil engineering contractors.
Over £5bn of projects have been posted to the Noticeboard since its launch six months ago and 90 main contractors have used it so far with more posting every day.
Specialist Cibes Lift Group said: “The ConQuest Noticeboard has proved to be a great tool in aiding us to find and secure work. The system is clear and easy to use.
“The addition of the comments box on the bidding page is really useful for companies like ourselves, who have specialised products within a broader field, and allows us to clearly state what we can offer to prospective clients.”
Specialist WJ Structures said: “ConQuest Noticeboard has added a new avenue for gaining tenders to our company, its usability along with a great selection of projects makes it one of the best online tools for securing contracts.
“Not only does ConQuest Noticeboard help secure work, it’s file sharing system is quick and easy to use, which is perfect for a subcontractor like ourselves.”
The service costs £225 per year – for more details click here
