A construction worker is in an induced coma after a fall at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre where Robertson is main contractor on the £333m job.
The victim was working for a subcontractor when he suffered serious head injuries after falling from a platform.
A Robertson spokeswoman told The Press and Journal: “We can confirm that one of our subcontractors working on the AECC was taken to hospital on Tuesday afternoon.
“We are conducting an investigation into the circumstances and will report in full to the HSE.”
The conference centre is Robertson’s largest ever contract award.
