J Smart & Co (Contractors) has closed down its subsidiary company Concrete Products (Kirkcaldy) Limited.
The listed contractor confirmed the move in a stock exchange announcement on Tuesday afternoon.
It said: “The directors took this decision due to the substantial losses made by Concrete Products (Kirkcaldy) Limited in the current year to 31 July 2018 and in previous years.
“In the year to 31 July 2018 the company’s revenue amounted to £2,100,000 and it suffered a loss before tax of £466,000.”
