Galliard hails Birmingham the new London as scheme sells out

Galliard Homes has dubbed Birmingham as the new London after selling out a flat scheme off plan within three days.

The London house builder in partnership with regional developer Apsley House Capital sold the entire phase one release of The Timber Yard development in Birmingham City Centre

The 1oo flats in phase one have a combined value of  £23.4m.

David Galman, sales director at Galliard Homes said: “The apartments released over the three-day launch sold for a blended average of £420 per sq ft.

The first in a series of new homes developments planned by the Galliard Apsley Partnership in Birmingham, The Timber Yard consists of a 1.5 acre regeneration scheme located on Pershore Street.

When finished in 2021, it will provide 379 flats for private sale, complete with hotel-style foyers, gym and club lounge.

The Timber Yard development consists of two residential buildings, up to 7 storeys and 13 storeys high respectively, providing views across Birmingham’s skyline.
