T&T Facades has won a 7500 m2 cladding contract with new client WRW Construction on the redevelopment of an existing 13-storey Swansea office block into student housing.
The building will be extended to include an additional two storeys creating Oldway House containing 556 new en-suite student bedrooms a management area, show accommodation, common rooms, laundrette and a ground floor retail unit.
T&T Facades will be responsible for the design, supply and installation of the rainscreen cladding package on the scheme, comprising Rockpanel rainscreen and various ancillaries including flashings, cavity barriers and parapet coping.

“The Oldway House scheme perfectly suits our skills and experience having successfully delivered three multi-story student accommodation blocks in Southampton City Centre in the last 12 months alone.”
T&T Facades will start on site in November 2018.
