South west construction group Beard has promoted Darren Miller to become new commercial director for the £137m turnover family-owned firm.
He will be responsible for managing all commercial activity and central procurement for the business, which operates from offices in Bristol, Swindon, Guildford and Oxford.
Miller joined Beard from Balfour Beatty back in 2006 as commercial manager for the firm’s Swindon operations.
David Sershall, managing director of Beard, said: “Darren firmly believes in creating and sustaining great relationships with our customers and suppliers, and shares our ‘partnering’ approach and commitment to prompt and faultless delivery.”
