Wates looking to work with new North West subcontractors

Maintenance giant Wates Living Space is looking to meet Manchester and North West based construction companies to add to its local supply chain.

Places will be up grabs on Wates Living Space’s local Responsive Repairs supply chain network.

The ‘Meet the Buyer’ event will be hosted in partnership with Constructionline at the Marriott Worsley Park, Walkden Road, Worsley, Manchester, M28 2QT, on Tuesday 17th July 2018, 9am to 1pm.

Opportunities are open to responsive repairs subcontractors across a range of trades including plumbing, electrical works, joinery, painting, flooring, tiling, scaffolding as well as window and door suppliers and installers.

David Morgan, Managing Director, Wates Living Space, said: “It is a critical priority for our business that we engage local supply chain partners, the benefit of which can be seen in the local employment and training opportunities that it generates.

“Appointing local businesses will ultimately ensure that the money invested in these regions remains here and that the local economic impact of our work brings a lasting legacy to the community.”
